Traveling at different speeds
drifting between different planes
we bump into one another
like molecules of matter
sometimes heated and exited
butting Helium-heads.
other times suspended like molasses on a winter morning
slow-mo neighbors noticing exquisit detail
as the world whirs by.
I keep noticing you
not like a meteor or a shooting star
just passing though ,
but like another celestial body
heavenly , with line of sight and a sweet elliptical orbit .
we do bump into each other once and again,
then once again .
then seeming like it might not happen
we find ourselves on a near-miss collision-course .
Of course gracing each other with a grazing of each other.
You slipped by this time...
I don't think we actually bumped.....
